Job
Description
The
waiter/waitress is responsible for serving the guests and taking down their
orders. They form an important part of the Bistro as they are the first person
to interact with customers and thus need to leave a good impression on them.
Besides taking orders, the waiter/waitress will also read out the house
specials and may guide a customer on the choice of food.
Job
responsibilities:
· The main duty of a waiter/waitress is to
take orders and serve food and beverages to customers.
· They welcome the customers and show them
to their table.
·
They take down the customer’s order and pass it
to the chef in the kitchen and make sure that the food reaches the right table.
· Before and after every meal, they prepare
the table, put new linen and cutlery.
· They take feedback from the customers about
the food and check if the latter needs anything.
· They bring the bills to the customers.
Job
requirements:
· Must have good manners and excellent
communication skills.
·
Must have the basic knowledge about the food so
that, if required, can help the customer choose what to eat.
·
Should be organized and be able to work well
under pressure.
·
6 days week, able to work on Saturdays, Sundays
and Public holidays.
·
