[post event] Members' cooking class - 21st Apr 2016
Thursday 21st April was the first time we had a weekday cooking class at our own demo kitchen in the retail store. It was also the first time Chef Lorenza Pavan conducted a cooking class for our members.

She demonstrated how to make a classic Carbonara from scratch using guanciale (we now sell guanciale in the store). Then she showed us how to make Sicilian Involtini Rolls with Cannellini Beans Sauce . Lastly, members were treated to Crema Pasticcera with Caramelised Sugar!
Apart from complimentary cooking classes, members are also entitled to $15 icoupons with every $500 accumulated purchase. To sign up for membership, swing by our retail store at 22 Dempsey Road and pick up an application form from the info counter.
About Chef Lorenza Pavan Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, farmers and wine makers, Chef Lorenza's passion of food, wines and cooking started at a tender age. Picking fresh eggs, churning butter or plucking grapes from her family farms and vineyards in Manziana, Italy, heightened her appreciation and understanding of freshest taste of produce and ingredients. Her fascination in cooking began with helping her grandparents who operated Ristorante Osteria since 1950s.
Proud of her Italian roots growing up on a farm, Lorenza is a true farm chef, understanding good food begins with quality ingredients.
