[post event] Chef Jimmy Chok's cooking class - 1st Oct 2016
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Jimmy Chok is one of the most dynamic and talented chefs in today’s culinary scene. Best known for his creation of innovative recipes that blend Asian ingredients with western-style cooking, Jimmy’s name is synonymous with “fusion” food.
We invited him over to demonstrate a few recipes to our card members. The dishes he whipped up were (1) Slow Roast Lamb Rack with Orange Hoisin Sauce, and Asian slaw (2) Stir Fry Penne Paste with Sliced Beef (3) Wok Fry Mushroom with Parma Ham, and Air Dried Beef. We were blown away by the hoisin orange sauce and how easy it can be to stir fry rump for the pasta!
