Meat Appreciation - Beef at ToTT Store - 13th Nov 2010
You may have heard that we conducted a Beef Appreciation class on Sat 13th November!
More than 60 participants turned up at 3pm that day to meet with our chairman, Mr Ernst Huber, as he spoke about cattle breeds, feedlots, feeds, marbling, etc. Of course, it would be "tasteless" without some sampling. Therefore we roasted grass-fed, U.S. prime corn-fed, Australian Angus grain-fed and wagyu beef sirloin so participnats could compare the texture and flavour of various types of beef.
All these were done at the new ToTT Store at Bukit Timah! We are happy to mention that the proceeds from this class went into provision of education for the kids in Sandakan.
