We had the privilege of being hosted by Mr Fassler himself as he brought us around the factory and even entertained us in his office!
We started off with the coldroom where Mr Fassler briefly showed us what goes on inside there while briefly explaining to us the different items. Next we headed to the different areas of the factory where we saw first-hand how the fishes are removed from the cartons, how they are cleaned, sliced, smoked and finally packed.
We also had the privilege to go to the area where Fassler soups are being prepared, cooled and packed.
We finally ended up in his office where we were treated to a sashimi platter and bottles of wines!
