New Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain - 1st Nov 2014

Masia El Altet has an olive-growing area of 70 hectares - half of it lies within the Font Roja Nature Reserve and the other half in the Sierra De Mariloa Nature Reserve in the south eastern part of Spain.
The olives are harvested over a short period of time so as to obtain uniform quality in the production of olive oils. Then oil is extracted with high-technology machinery at a very low temperature and short production process - so short that its net oil production is 12% lower than the industry average. After extraction, the oil is stored in stainless steel tanks in temperature-controlled cellars.
