Eddy Yap - 1st Nov 2016
Eddy received his long service award this year at the annual company dinner. He asked for some “air-time” on stage to give a speech. He came on stage and expressed his gratitude to the company for giving him the opportunity. It turns out that he was looking for a change as an Executive Chef in a Chinese restaurant when he came to know Andre, our Executive Director. It came up in their conversation and before long, Eddy joined us as Sales Executive.
That happened in September 2011. As a Sales Executive, his job scope includes opening new wholesale accounts, maintaining relationships with them and offering advices and tips as and when necessary. Three years later, in 2014, he was promoted to the position of Sales Manager where he leads a team of two Sales Executives. Though his official hours are 8am to 6pm, there are occasions when he has to attend events in the evening in a show of support to our wholesale customers.

Eddy rides a motorbike to work daily. He enjoys going on road trips on this motorbike. Just last year, he traveled from Singapore to South Thailand on his motorbike with a couple of other motorbike-enthusiasts. The journey took them about 12 hours, one –way. While this is a hobby he gets to indulge in only once in a blue moon, he has another hobby that fits better into his schedule: working out at a gym. As he is working to build some muscles, he daily diet now is salad with lots of added proteins.
