Taste Wines from Austria and Germany - 25th Mar 2017






Sample wines from Austria and Germany at our Gourmet Studio. Come by for a wine tasting 25th and 26th March! The team from The Singapore Straits Wine Company will be here to conduct the tasting. Expect labels by Schloss Gobelsburg and Max Ferdinard Richter.

Schloss Gobelsburg is one of the oldest wineries in Austria and has some 35 hectares in historical vineyard sites around the castle producing one of the best Gruner Veltliner, the most planted white grape variety in Austria. Schloss Gobelsburg had been awarded "Top 100 Winery of the Year" consecutively from 2009 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2014.

Max Ferdinard Richter, on the other hand, produces world-class rieslings from some of the most esteemed vineyards in Mosel. Located along the steep, chilly slopes of Germany's Mosel River Valley, these historic vineyards date from 1643.
