“I never had to deal with Monday blues because I love my job
a lot.” – Andreana, Huber’s sales admin.
Before joining Huber’s, Andreana was working at a company
selling beauty products. She did not enjoy herself there as the working
environment was really stressful. She had to put on tonnes of makeup to work
everyday which she was not very comfortable with, so she decided to quit the job
and join Huber’s.
At first, she doubted herself a lot as she was afraid that she
would not be able to fit in the company. It was a huge jump for her as she had
zero experience in the food industry and was not very familiar with all the
meat cuts. But it did not take her long to familiarize with all the products.
She said that having an inquisitive mind is really important while working. Andreana just received her Fifth Year Service Award with Huber’s this year.

Andreana has to wake up as early as 5am to prepare herself
for work as she needs some travel time from Johor Bahru to Singapore. Her dad,
who works in Singapore as well will travel with her and she really appreciates
that dad-daughter moment everyday. Andreana is the eldest in her family and she
has three other siblings. She said her family is really close and they will
always spend time together during weekends when everyone is home.

During her free time, she likes to shop online and her
favourite platform is Tao Bao. She also enjoys watching documentaries and
informative TV-shows. But most of all, her favourite hobby is to eat. Do not be
fooled by her small size, Andreana is actually a big eater! She and her
boyfriend will always hunt for the best eating places whenever they are free. So,
if you are planning a trip down to Johor Bahru, you know who to ask for food
recommendations.
