Soon Yang better known as Ah
Yang is our bubbly driver from the wholesale division. Before joining Huber’s,
Ah Yang used to work at a signage company for 8 years. Due to the long
working hours, he decided to quit the job
and took up this position as a driver at Huber’s. His day starts very early as
Ah Yang needs to travel from Johor Bahru to Singapore but he does not mind the
travelling as he prefers to stay together with his family. Ah Yang said that he really appreciate the work-life balance after joining Huber's.
One of the biggest challenge for him is to deliver all the goods on time for the customers. Therefore, he
always plans his route beforehand so that he can deliver his loads efficiently.
Ah Yang said that Huber’s has changed
him a lot as an individual. He is now more matured and responsible compared to
old times.
Ah Yang is happily married to
his high school sweetheart and he is now a father of two cute boys. On
weekends, he will help his wife with the house chores and spend as much time as
possible with his two boys. On some weekends, he will bring his wife and kids
back to his hometown, Batu Pahat to visit his parents and to have some good home-cooked food. Besides his mother’s dishes, Ah Yang’s favourite food place
is the Malay ‘kampung’ stall where they sell very tasty nasi lemak and lontong.
Ah Yang is a car enthusiast
since young, he likes to study and research about cars modifications. He used
to spend a lot of time polishing and modifying his car and because of that he
takes really good care of his delivery truck.
