Jeanel, our Purchaser, came to Singapore from
the Philippines in 2009. She responded to a recruitment advertisement by Huber's in 2014 after four years as a sales
admin/ purchaser in a company dealing with semiconductors.
As a purchaser, Jeanel handles all the import documents for Huber’s.
She has to prepare all the necessary documents for sea and air freight like
invoices, packing lists, products’ certificates of origin and many more. She also
has to coordinate with the drivers to ensure timely clearance of goods from the airport and port. Jeanel also assists Jocelyn, our Purchasing Coordinator with
demand forecast. When Jocelyn is on off or leave, Jeanel will have to fill in the gap.
Jeanel loves art & craft and enjoys doing it during her free-time. She signed up for a
basic pottery throwing class recently and tried her hand at making a few ceramic bowls from scratch! She also learnt how to make her own
glass plate by using glass fusing techniques where she melts multiple
pieces of glass before joining them together again.

Jeanel is also into
calligraphy and water-colour painting at the moment. In the course of pursuing this interest, she has managed to amass an extensive collection of brushes, marker pens and pens. Most of her artworks were Pinterest and
Instagram inspired and Instagram is the main platform where Jeanel shares all
