Pastificio dei Campi Pasta from Italy - 1st Sep 2019
“Pasta” and “Italy” are two words hardly separable.
Among the few brands we carry at Huber’s, one of them is Pastificio dei Campi that comes
from Gragnano, Italy – the city of IGP pasta.
* IGP is a mark guaranteeing the product's provenance and quality, and only
obtained upon meeting guidelines stipulated by the European Commission. These guidelines include, but not limited to, the exclusive use of durum wheat semolina and water from local sources; packaging within 24 hours in the place of production; as well as packaging in cardboard boxes or transparent bags made using recyclable plant-based materials permitted by European regulations.
We recommend that you check out the following few
bestsellers:
· Tofette di Gragnano – A small shell-shaped grooved
pasta
·
Maccheroncini al pettine di Gragnano – A special
shape by Pastificio dei Campi traditionally made with a comb-like tool
·
Fusillata Casareccia di Gragnano – A smooth,
scroll-shaped pasta
·
Fusilli Lunghi col Buco – A delightful spring-looking
shape from Naples. The ancient production technique once involved winding
spaghetti around a kind of knitting needle.
·
Bucatini di Gragnano – A shape that originated in
Naples but popular in Lazio. Its distinguishing feature is their hole through
the middle.
These premium quality pastas from Pastificio dei Campi are exclusively available to Huber's customers in Singapore. Swing by our Dempsey store to scan the wide array available and hunt for that one pasta your heart desires.

About Pastificio dei Campi
Pastificio dei Campi aims to restore and sustain the tradition
of Gragnano IGP pasta – a city which has provided the best place for producing
pasta for many centuries with its mild and slightly damp climate.
Craftsmanship and respect for tradition are the cornerstones
of their philosophy.
They are awarded the 100% MADE IN ITALY certification issued
by the institute for the Protection of Italian Producers, and go through a
series of rigorous checks annually to verify that the entire production cycle
is carried out in Italy – from the grain of wheat to the packaging material.
In 2014, the Pastificio dei Campi campotto reaches the peak
of the Compasso d’Oro, winning the Honourable Mention in the XXIII edition of
the oldest and most authoritative world design award.
