Founded in 1909 by the great grandparents of current owner Bob McClaren, 44 Farms has produced crops and raised cattle for nearly a century. Besides producing the finest steaks, they are recognized as one of the premier Black Angus breeders in the country. It is a working ranch, not a factory, and the ranchers know and evaluate every animal they raise.
In 2012, 44 Farms started producing top quality beef under their own brand and are fast gaining a reputation of having the best Angus beef in USA. The cattle is raised all natural with no added hormones and antibiotics. Due to their superior genetics and the cattle’s slow natural growth on grains, the resulting steaks are beautifully tender and sweet.
