Byron Bay Tea Co. - 1st Feb 2021

At Byron Bay Tea Company (BBTC), we assure you that
something is always brewing!
Inspired by the healing magic emanating from the land of
Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia, BBTC combine their love of teas with the
best and freshest ingredients they can find, whilst honouring the rich history
of tea across cultures. BBTC teas combine both the medicinal benefits of plants
with the flavours that mother nature provides. Most importantly, BBTC’s ethos
and philosophy are centred around improving the wellbeing of the individual as
well as the planet with their healing range of teas.
BBTC’s teas, be it Herbal, Traditional, or Oriental, not
only provide an enjoyable taste experience and a means of relaxation, they also
come with wide-ranging health benefits. BBTC teas contain an abundant source of
natural plant-derived antioxidant compounds called polyphenols, which have been
shown in many studies to provide protective antioxidant action against harmful
free radicals that can damage DNA, cell membranes and other cell components.
While free radicals are a major cause of heart disease, tea that contains a
high level of antioxidants that fight free radicals may help to inhibit the
development of heart disease and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke! A
healthy source of calcium, zinc, vitamin B1 and B2, as well as folic acid, a
cup of tea also makes for a great stress reliever and a healthy addition to
fat-loss diet.
If not for the health benefits one can get from drinking a
nice cup of BBTC tea, do it because it’s genuinely refreshing and enjoyable! If
you are keen to stay healthy and hydrated in the hot Singapore weather and want
something more than just plain water, experimenting with
BBTC teas to make iced teas can be a whole lot of fun. Here’s sharing with you
a couple of iced tea ideas using BBTC teas available at level 2 of our
