Singapore, 14th April 2015 – On Tuesday 14th April, Huber’s Pte Ltd was awarded the Gourmet Distributor of the Year at the World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence 2015.
ABOUT THE WORLD GOURMET SUMMIT
The World Gourmet Summit is an award-winning international gastronomic extravaganza organised by A La Carte Productions (a division of Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd). An annual epicurean festival that showcases the intricate craftsmanship of prestigious chefs, it is also an exposition of the internationally acclaimed vintners. Encompassing a series of dazzling events like the gourmet golf experience, vintner dinners and special themed and celebrity dinners, it is a gourmet spectacular specially crafted for the discerning individual who appreciates great wines and fine cuisines.

This award is presented to a Gourmet Distributor in Singapore that features an impressive range of gourmet products targeted at industry clients.
HOW HUBER’S PTE LTD WAS SELECTED:
The process started with members of the public voting and nominating in selected award categories. A selected group of F&B professionals and connoisseurs were also invited to vote and put in their nominations for all the award categories. Nominations are then collated and tabulated. The highest scoring nominees for each award category will move on to the next round.
In round 2 of the evaluation process, a selected group of F&B professionals and connoisseurs are invited to vote in all award categories in a closed round of voting. Nominations are collated and tabulated. The top 3-5 highest scoring nominees for each award category will proceed to the Final Round for final assessment.
In the final round, a selected group of key industry decision makers will evaluate the finalists and select the most outstanding finalist. The results are then submitted to an independent auditor.
The finalists this year in the epicure Gourmet Distributor of the Year include Auric Pacific, Culina, Giorgio Ferrari, Huber’s Pte Ltd and Indoguna. Huber’s Pte Ltd is therefore proud to have been selected as the most outstanding finalist by the selected group of key industry decision makers!
