Kith Café - 2nd Jun 2015
There are two reasons I go to Park Mall. One is when the parking at Plaza Singapura is full and the other is when I am looking for furniture. In this case, it was the latter and since it was just after noon, we decided to pit at Kith Café for lunch.
Kith Café at Park Mall
This is one of my go to places for breakfast for the family on the weekend as they open early at 7am at Robertson Quay and also have some play equipment available for the little one. The breakfast menu and coffee here is good so I was interested to try their lunch menu.
Steak sandwich
Kith Café has a good selection of salads and pastas however we went for a sandwich and pizza. The steak sandwich featured a grilled sirloin steak, beetroot onion jam, salsa Aioli and rocket leaves between two slices of sourdough bread. This was served with some tortilla chips which could be crispier. The half centimeter thick steak was cooked well done but tender enough to bite. The bread was toasted and had a good texture, thankfully not hard and rough that it would cut gums. There was good moisture and sweetness from the salsa and jam which made this sandwich satisfying.
Salami pizza
We also had the salami pizza which came with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, salami, crispy garlic and rosemary olive oil. We asked for the fresh chilli to be taken out as our little one was going to have some. The thin crust had a good amount of tomato and cheese however I thought the salami could have more flavour. It was a decent job for a café whose kitchen looked rather small to offer that variety of items on the menu. We washed down our food with fresh fruit juices that were very refreshing.
Kith Café now has three locations with Sentosa being the newest. It is proving that a café not only serves good coffee but can churn out good food as well.
