Justice Yeo - 1st Feb 2016

Justice joined us in November 2013 as Shop Assistant. He is often seen re-stocking the shelves or offering help to our customers. Justice has 6 elder sisters, one elder brother and a younger sister. Yes, that makes 11 of them in the family. In the year 2000, Justice travelled to Fuzhou, south-eastern tip of China, alone. His neighbour had arranged for Justice to visit his friend’s daughter in China with the intention of putting both of them together. Justice was aware of it and made his way there in August. And so in Fuzhou, Nanfang brought him around for more than 20 days. Soon after he returned to Singapore, Justice made arrangements for Nanfang to relocate to Singapore.

Fast forward 15 years, and now the couple live in the western part of Singapore with their 13-year-old son. Both of them knock off at about 5pm Monday to Friday therefore, they both make it home every day to prepare dinner. Prior to Huber’s, Justice worked in his dad’s electrical shop for about 40 years until mega electrical shops forced neighbourhood electrical shops out of business. Though he doesn’t deal with electrical appliances or repair works as much now as before, his passion clearly still lies in handy work around the house. When I unknowingly told him that something has broken down at home, he offered to repair it for me.
Apart from working with his hands, Justice also enjoys collecting toys – what he has on his shelves now are Ultraman and Ipman figurines among others. He is also a fan of Ayumi Hamasaki, an artist from Japan. You may be baffled to hear that while Justice is allergic to seafood, he takes salmon sashimi without triggering an allergy.
