Roast Angus Beef Sirloin with Rosemary


For 4 servings:


2kg Angus beef sirloin
5 sprigs fresh rosemary
Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper
Garlic powder
Olive oil

Cooking Method

  1. Tie the fresh rosemary on top of the sirloin (ask our butchers to do it).

  2. Pre-heat oven to 220°C.

  3. Rub salt, pepper and garlic powder onto the meat.

  4. After which, rub some olive oil on the meat.

  5. Place on a baking tray and leave in the oven. Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C.

  6. Roast to desired doneness or for a medium-done sirloin, roast for about 35 minutes.

  7. Reduce the temperature to 40°C and let the roast rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing.

To serve

May be served with oven roasted vegetables and rosemary-flavoured potatoes.
