With Valentine's Day around the corner, I've always felt that nothing shows love better than a nice homemade meal that is cooked from the heart. Even something as simple as rice and soup can be the best tasting food you've ever eaten when you know it's made with love.


To help you whip up the best meal for your loved one on this special day, we have brought in great tasting new products and our Gourmet Studio Chef has specially come up with a Valentine’s cooking session on the 11th February! The perfect steak to impress your loved one this Valentines Day is a Heart Shaped Steak from Huber’s Butchery! Available in our USDA Prime Ribeye or Argentinean Ribeye, this melt-in-your mouth steak will melt your lover's heart for sure!


As the steak is butterflied to get the shape, each steak would be approximately 400-500g, perfect for sharing between a couple. We recommend placing a smaller pan on the steak when you pan-fry/grill the steak so that it keeps the shape even after cooking.You can serve it with some risotto balls and red salsify to complete the delicious meal.

Nothing shows your love better than a homemade dessert! Our recommendation – a classic Italian Tiramisu al Marsala byAllrecipes!



  • 2 ½ cups brewed espresso coffee, cooled
  • 1 ¼ cups Marsala wine
  • 4 medium eggs, separated
  • ½ cup white sugar, divided
  • 14 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 40 Savoiardi biscuits (ladyfingers)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate shavings, or to taste


  1. Mix cooled coffee and Marsala wine together in a bowl.
  2. Beat egg yolks with half of the sugar in a bowl until you have a clear cream with no lumps. Stir the mascarpone with a wooden spoon or whisk in a separate bowl until creamy; stir into the egg yolks.
  3. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar in a separate bowl using an electric mixer until they form peaks; fold gently into mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip half of the savoiardi biscuits into coffee-Marsala mixture. Arrange dipped biscuits carefully in a glass dish. Cover dipped biscuits with half of the mascarpone mixture. Smooth out mascarpone until evenly distributed; top with half of the cocoa powder. Repeat layering with dipped savoiardi biscuits, mascarpone mixture, and cocoa powder; top with chocolate shavings.

  5. Refrigerate tiramisu until flavors blend, at least 3 hours.
