I'm filled with an immense sense of gratitude and joy as I share with you that thanks to your unwavering support and love for what we do, Huber's Butchery has clinched the Gold for thefifth year running as the Best Butcher in Expat Living Singapore's Reader's Choice Awards! This isn't just our win; it's yours too. So, a big, hearty thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

In the spirit of being the best butcher in town, let's dive into the meaty goodies we've got lined up for you in this April!


Meat of the Month: This month, we're digging in to ourPrimrose Farms Canadian Pork – renowned for its succulence and flavour. Whether you're a grill master or a kitchen novice, this pick is sure to take your culinary game to the next level.


Sausage of the Month: Here at Huber's, we hand-make our sausages with fresh ingredients daily. This April, we're shining a spotlight on ourSpanish Style Pork Sausage with Smoked Paprika;a definite must-try!


Wines: Here's a fun fact for you – did you know that we have an extensive selection of over 500 wines? Our General Manager, Thomas Kreissl uncorked a selection of 5 extraordinary wines that are as rare as they are delightful, especially around this part of the world. Each bottle has been handpicked for its unique story and unique taste, promising to take you on a journey to the vineyards.


New Products: Get ready to explore the gourmet world with our latest additions – Ar De Arte Galician canned seafood, Obando bread delights, La Catedral preserves, Truffle Salami and Lardo! These selections promise to bring a new dimension of taste to your dining tables.

Last but not least, we will be closing our butchery & bistro doors earlier than usual, at 5pm (last order for bistro at 4.30pm!), for stocktake on30th April 2024, Tuesday. We look forward to serving you during our regular hours on the following day, 1st May 2024, Wednesday.

This month, we're delighted to feature our Canadian Pork, a standout selection renowned for its superb quality and flavour.


Sourced exclusively from Primrose Farm, the most premium brand of pork packed by Donald’s Fine Foods, Primrose Farms Pork is subjected to rigorous inspection process. This ensures only the finest cuts — distinguished by their colour, size, marbling, and cut specifications — are chosen for Primrose Farms Traditional Pork range. Emphasising on sustainability and health, the pork is fully traceable and raised without growth hormones or feed additives like DDGS and Ractopamine.


But why Canadian pork? The Singapore Food Authority only permits the import of chilled pork from a select few countries. At Huber's, we've found Canadian pork to surpass the rest in quality. Raised for longer periods to reach a more substantial size, these pigs yield meat that's notably darker, more marbled, and bursting with flavour.

Meticulously made fresh every day in our butchery, these sausages are a testament to our commitment to quality and taste. Crafted from the finest Canadian pork, infused with rich smoked paprika, and seasoned with a select mix of herbs and spices, they offer an exciting twist to any meal.


Our sausages come with no added MSG, fillers, or artificial colourings, ensuring each bite is full of natural goodness. Curated by our General Manager, Thomas Kreissl, here are 5 hidden wine gems that are rarely seen in this part of the world, that can be found at Huber's Butchery.



A new addition and a milestone for the winery. This new classification was introduced in 2014, which sits on top of the exciting pyramid, to represent the distinct terroirs of each estate. It stipulates that the grapes are estate grown and bottled. Aging requirements call for a minimum of 30 months, 6 months more than the Reserva versions.


A perfect pairing to go with our meats or aged cheeses.



Clarete or Aloque as it is called in this part of Spain, is a unique rosé as red and white grapes are crushed together, actually trodden with feet (!), then pressed and fermented in oak barrels.


An enjoyable blend, packed with flavours.



A family that has been making wine since the 17th century. A blend of Furmint, the dominant grape in Tokaji, producing an intense full bodied high acidity wine, as well as Hárslevelű, an offspring of Furmint, that adds an aromatic note to it.


This results in a distinct minerality and tropical fruit in this full-bodied wine with a long finish.



Being amongst one of the oldest wineries in Switzerland and one of a few that are certified organic, it needs hardly any further introduction.


Cornalin, known to being notoriously difficult to grow, it rewards one with complexity on the nose, be it through notes of red fruits or notes of spice.


Thomas's go-to wine for a typical Swiss dish we all know – Cheese Fondue!




What is MCC? Methode Cap Classique (MCC) refers to the 2nd fermentation in the bottle, just like Champagne. Produced only in exceptional years and spending a rather extended period on lees (50 months), resulting in complex aromas of toasted almonds and baked shortbread which blends in well with the zesty notes of citrus and crisp apple, showing tart acidity and a creamy mousse on the palate.

Made in Australia, this premium salami is a culinary masterpiece infused with the luxurious aroma and rich flavour of truffles. Perfect for any charcuterie board, sandwich, or meal it accompanies, this mouth-watering treat is definitely for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Crafted from the esteemed Hungarian Mangalitsa pork, often celebrated as the "Kobe beef of pork", our Lardo harmonises the succulent tenderness of meat with the luxurious creaminess of fat.
