A true showstopper for any festive table, ourpremium whole suckling pig is known for its crispy skin and tender, juicy meat—perfect for impressing your guests. If you're looking for something slightly smaller, we've got you covered! Choose from our Tabladillo ready-to-cook suckling pig in quarter or rack options.
The best part? It’s easy to prepare! Simply follow these 3 steps for a delicious, crispy feast:
- Allow the frozen suckling pig to thaw in the chiller compartment overnight before roasting
- Preheat oven to 200ºC. Place the sucking pig (still sealed in its bag), on the bottom rack of the oven, ensuring the skin or rind is facing upwards. Roast for 120 mins.
- Once cooked, remove the bag from the oven, pierce it to release steam, and carefully strain the juices. Slice and serve, using the flavourful juices as a sauce!

Plum sauce recipe:
- 6 black plums, remove seeds
- 1 cup port wine
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer until the plums soften. Mash the mixture, breaking up any large pieces of plum. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes. The sauce will have a chunky texture, but you can smooth it using an immersion blender, regular blender, or by straining it through a sieve. Serve hot with the pork.

HoneyMustard sauce recipe:
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar. For a creamier texture, stir in mayonnaise and whisk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then mix thoroughly. Let the sauce sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavours to blend. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature with your suckling pig. |
