Best wishes to you and your family for 2021. I am glad to announce that with the move to relax restrictions and enter into phase three of Singapore economy’s reopening, we are able to hold our long-awaited cooking classes again. To comply with safe distancing measures, we can only host 6 people per class. Moving into February, we will try to organise 3 classes per week which would mean 18 seats per week. I understand it is not easy to get a seat and we will continue to do our best to ensure that reservations are as fair as possible. We have some plans to make it more accessible so please bear with us while we work it out.

We have limited slots per day so do get your orders in to avoid disappointment.Starting from today, we are having a special Japanese Wagyu giveaway as part of the Japan Livestock Export Promotion Council’s campaign to increase awareness of Japanese Wagyu. Previously we were importing and selling Mottainai lamb which many of our customers loved. Unfortunately, they had to stop production a few months ago. Quite recently I was introduced to Margra Lamb by a Michelin star chef who raved about the quality of the lamb. We brought in some samples and really enjoyed the quality and hence decided to stock it for our customers. The texture of the lamb is very tender due to the finer muscle fibres, and it is juicy and succulent with fat that simply melts in your mouth. The flavour is clean, refined with a nice umami and an absence of the strong gamey lamb flavour and acidity you can get with commodity lamb. It is now sold in our meat counters so do look out for it.
