Beef Schnitzel Sandwich

Ingredients

Serves 1-2 pax

NZ Wagyu Sirloin Steak
Rye bread (sourdough or pretzel bun)
Salt & pepper
Flour, eggs, breadcrumbs
Mustard Aioli:
1/2    Garlic clove, grated
Pinch of salt
1/4      Cup of mayo
1 tsp    Wholegrain mustard
1 tsp    Dijon mustard
2 tsp    Lemon juice
Lettuce, tomato, Gruyere cheese optional

Cooking Method

1. Flatten steak to 1/4 inch, season with salt & pepper.
2. Coat with flour, eggs, then breadcrumbs.
3. Shallow fry in hot oil till golden brown.
4. Drain on a rack, assemble sandwich.
5. Enjoy with crisps or salad!
