Privileges of Membership - Coffee Gallery Tour - 17th Sep 2010
On a wet morning on 17th September, 8 of our members gathered at the Etre Bon Gallery for a Coffee Gallery Tour.
Starting at 10.30am, Carmen from Boncafe gave us an introduction to the inception of Boncafe in Singapore, how coffee beans are harvested and how coffee pairing is done.
After which, Mr Eric Huber (also from Boncafe), demonstrated to us how the coffee beans are roasted.
Lastly, Henrie gave us professional insights into the making of different types of coffee. He also performed latte art before our eyes; we even had a chance to have a go at it! And we were delighted when we were served with freshly brewed coffee!
