Felicia Chan - 1st Jun 2015

Felicia, who has been married for 30 years, lives in the northern part of Singapore with her husband and 3 children. She was in the hospitality industry for 10 years before becoming a SAHM (stay-at-home-mum). 8 years later, she returned to the workforce and joined Huber’s in 2013. Felicia is usually seen behind the cold-cuts corner, working diligently and quietly with her hands.
Felicia is an avid home chef who cooks almost every other day for the family. She also enjoys gardening and currently has a pot of chilli plant at home. She mentioned that given time, she would like to grow the number of edible potted plants she has. If you happen to be pruning your edible potted plant this week, please bring a cut-out for her to grow!
Her favourite food is her very own home-cooked red curry chicken. She is also a big fan of durians! Felicia is down-to-earth, reserved and soft-spoken. She urged me repeatedly to make this column about her “a short and simple one” so as to stay out of the “limelight”. All that this unflappable mother wants is grandchildren in the house soon.
