Ariella - 1st Jul 2015
Though she is based in the office at Pandan Loop, many of you may have met her in person or have exchanged emails with her. Ariella is the one who organises the monthly cooking classes and replies to emails sent to members@hubersbutchery.com.sg. She has been with Huber’s for more than 5 years and assists Andre with all marketing matters.
Ariella started off her career as a Marketing Assistant in a local established firm that manufactures bedlinens. Subsequently, she moved into sales and found that was not her cup of tea. She then did marketing for wines and spirits before joining Huber’s Butchery in late 2009. Ask her if she prefers wines or meats if you see her!
She enjoys baking and cooking. Her latest project is Ice Jelly topped with Lime Sorbet - so as to beat the heat, she says. She said enthusiastically that she picked up a new hobby several months ago - western calligraphy! She discovered calligraphy when her partner introduced her to fountain pens. To the disappointment of her partner, instead of falling for fountain pens, she fell for calligraphy instead.
Her favourite food is bbq stingray and satay. A few things she hopes she will come to enjoy one day - beer and coffee. She hopes that one day she will be able to spend more time doing scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, baking and calligraphy.
